Description:
This session reviews addictive behaviors that we are encountering as Recreation Therapists in Long Term Care, and what we can do through Recreation interventions for our clients to live successful and meaningful lives.
Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate three recreational interventions to implement with clients with addiction diagnosis.
- Identify at least three recreation therapy approaches for people who have addictive behaviors.
- Explain the purpose of one intervention and approach to achieve group/individual goals.
